Gatwick Airport Washroom

We were recently awarded the prestigious contract to refurbish eight toilet blocks and two disabled toilet areas at Gatwick Airport by Area Square Limited.

The refurbished blocks now meet the latest required standards with each providing one cubicle suitable for ambulant disabled use, complete with an approved Ventura close coupled w/c Suite and grabrails.

Twyford Doc M Plus Packs were fitted to the two designated Disabled WCs.

Following removal of all redundant materials, full height wall tiles were then fixed to the back walls of the cubicle runs. Tiles were also fitted to wall elevations where the basins were to be fitted.

WC cubicles from the Bushboard Sentinel range with Formica Calgary Maple finish doors were then installed (NB. This is a special order laminate and is not available in the standard range of Bushboard colours).

New sanitaryware was fitted throughout, including Purity WC suites and Purity semi-pedestal basins with Storm chrome monobloc lever taps. In addition Sanura urinals, complete with infrared sensor flushes, were fitted to each of the Gents WC areas.

The finishing touch to the toilet areas was provided by fixing floating mirrors above the vanity areas.

This project is now completed and the areas are now in use.
